Booking an event
What does your service cost me?
Nothing. Getting quotes and booking through us is free for event organisers. The price on your quote is the price you pay, on one invoice.
What happens if a truck cancels?
That's our problem, not yours. We only work with trucks we know personally, and if something goes wrong we find you a replacement. You deal with us the whole way through.
How far ahead should I book?
Weddings and Christmas parties: as early as you can. Smaller events: a few weeks is usually fine. Either way, send the enquiry and we'll tell you straight what's realistic for your date.
Are you only in Melbourne?
No. Melbourne is home base and our deepest network, but we list and book trucks across Australia. The only Melbourne-only service is on-site event staffing, which needs us physically there.
Do prices include GST?
All prices on this site are ex-GST. GST is added at invoice, and you'll receive a full tax invoice for everything.
Running a truck
Doesn't the 10% eat my profit?
No. You know the 10% before you quote, so you price the job with it in. Your margin stays your margin, and the booking is still work you didn't have yesterday. Compare it to lead marketplaces (subscription plus shared leads sold to five of your competitors) or ads (you pay whether you win or not). Here: no win, no fee.
How does the money side work?
We handle the client end-to-end: deposit, invoicing, the lot. You quote the gig, turn up and cook, then invoice us for your quote less the 10%, and we pay you on agreed terms. No chasing clients for deposits, no unpaid invoices, no admin. One counterparty, guaranteed payment.
Who owns the system after the automation setup?
You do. Every tool and automation is set up in your accounts, under your email. We keep admin access only while building or while you're in the Fleet. Leave anytime. It all keeps working, and it's all yours.
If I own it, why stay in the Fleet?
Because the Fleet isn't maintenance, it's bookings, upgrades and backup. Members are first in line when we route events, get every new automation we build, and have an operator to call. The system is yours either way; the Fleet is what keeps it earning.
What do the tools cost me?
Most trucks run on free or near-free tiers, usually under $50 a month, paid by you directly, so nothing's hidden in our fee.
I'm not in Melbourne. Can you still install?
Yes. The whole setup happens online, in your accounts, over a couple of calls. Perth to Cairns, same system, same 1–2 weeks.
Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can read an email and answer your phone, you can run it. Full walkthrough included.
